Materiazione is a studio founded in 2023 by architect Massimo Rigaglia. With an open and multidisciplinary approach, it addresses design issues with simple and essential actions.

The observation of behaviors and social phenomena, environmental changes, artisanal production techniques but also industrial, they raise awareness of the studio’s activity, which places man at the center in relation to the places and natural and artificial materials that surround him, and the actions that determine the shape of landscapes, architecture and objects. The transformation of materials, its conscious use, the development of a certain design awareness, doing research starting from consequences rather than needs, are practices constantly faced with passion and conviction.

His work is also characterized by an expressive coherence that derives from a creative process made of elementary, minimal, light gestures, applications of extreme simplification and reduction, that difficult simplicity necessary to try to understand what triggers the design motivations.
